Cabins by the sea, beneath the mountains
Five restored rorbu cabins on an old fishing quay. Winter evenings under the northern lights, summer nights that never get dark.
Quiet days in an old fishing village
The quay in Gløttvika has welcomed fishing boats for more than a hundred years. Today we let five of the old rorbu cabins, restored with care for the timber and with everything you need for a good stay.
There is no reception and no lobby. We hand you the key, and the quay, the mountains and the sea are yours.
The cabins
From Fiskarbua for two to Bryggekammerset for six. Every cabin has a sea view, its own bathroom and a kitchen.

Two seasons, two Lofotens

Winter: northern lights and silence
From October to March the aurora dances over the mountains on clear nights. Light the stove, step out on the quay and look up.

Summer: midnight sun and long hikes
From late May the sun never sets. Climb a peak at midnight, paddle on still water or simply sit on the terrace.

The sauna on the rocks
At the end of the rocks stands our wood-fired sauna, with a ladder straight into the sea. It is included for all guests. Book a time when you arrive.
