Everything you need to know before you arrive, from flights and ferries to keys and the sauna.
Getting here
Gløttvika is on Flakstadøya, in the middle of Lofoten.
- By air: Leknes airport is 40 minutes away by car, with several flights a day from Bodø.
- By ferry: the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes takes about three hours. From there it is an hour's drive.
- By car: the E10 runs all the way. Parking by the quay is free.
- By bus: the local bus stops on the road, a five-minute walk from the quay.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Collect the key from the key box by the quay. We email you the code the day before.
Arriving on the last ferry? Let us know and we will leave the lights on and light the stove.

House rules
- No smoking indoors or on the quay
- Dogs are welcome in Salteriet by arrangement
- Quiet on the quay after 23:00
- Children must wear a life jacket on the quay
Cancellation
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. For later cancellations we refund half of the amount.
